Powder Coating Technician (Second Shift)

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Powder Coater to join our team at Hot Kote. This position requires knowledge in all aspects of prep and application. This also includes prep work and hand tool prep. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to read and write in English.

Job Responsibilities:

Lift at least 50lbs

Work and communicate effectively with others

Work in a non-air-conditioned environment

tolerate standing on concrete for extended time periods

Exercise spatial skills

Willingness to learn operations of other departments (washing and powder coating)

Recognize quality control issues

Packaging of completed materials

Operate a forklift

Operate basic shop machinery

Practice appropriate safety skills

Consistent work hours

Be on time

Keep work areas and tolls clean

Requirements:

Prior experience in a shop floor laborer role is preferred

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Reliable transportation to and from work
