In‑Home Services Worker (IHSW)
for our In‑Home Adult program in Duluth, MN. As an IHSW, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most independent lives.
As part of RSI’s private In‑Home support program, we provide services for an adult male with an intellectual disability who is living in his own apartment. Shift times will range between 9:30 am and 10:30 pm, with the possibility of split shifts. Every other weekend is required.
Salary $20.25–$21.25 per hour

What you’ll do as an Independent Living Skills Worker You will serve adults living in private home settings. You will help individuals achieve their maximum level of independence by providing skill training and supports needed to perform everyday tasks. You will work collaboratively with the person and their support team to implement supports plans that will help them achieve independence in a variety of skill areas including:
Physical and personal needs
Communication
Household management
Community living/mobility
Reduction/elimination of maladaptive behavior
Sensory/motor development
Socialization
Vocational and educational
Health and wellness
Requirements
A valid driver’s license with no restrictions and a working vehicle
A two‑year degree in a behavioral science or related field preferred
One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferredTo pass a post‑offer background check and Motor Vehicle Report check
