Job Summary The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for hauling materials and equipment to and from job sites and assisting crews by offloading materials at various locations to increase job efficiency. This position supports the Line team and works with personnel in various departments.
Responsibilities
Haul equipment and materials to and from the job site, including moving from pole to pole safely.
Perform groundwork and prepare necessary materials for linemen.
Prepare safe work zones using signs, cones, and other safety equipment.
Assist in training new truck drivers.
Qualifications Minimum
High school diploma or equivalent.
CDL Class A license.
Clean driving record.
Preferred
Military clearance highly preferred.
Two or more years of relevant driving experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment The role is field-based and requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating in inclement weather (heat, cold, rain, snow, wind). Precise hand‑eye coordination and the ability to judge distance and color are essential.
