Rise to the Occasion: Become Our Bread Baker – GREENVALE, NY At Uncle Gs, we believe every loaf tells a story and we’re looking for a Full‑Time Bread Baker to help us craft the freshest, most delicious breads in our store! From golden breads to hearty loaves, you'll bring joy to our customers with every batch that comes out of the oven. If you love the smell of warm bread, have experience shaping dough into perfection, and can handle the heat of a busy bakery, this is your chance to shine! (This position will train at one of our local stores until the Greenvale location opens in July).
What You’ll Do
Prepare gourmet breads, rolls and traditional Italian baked breads using our gourmet recipes
Follow production schedules to keep the bakery stocked with fresh goods
Measure, mix, knead, and shape dough into loaves, rolls, and specialty creations
Keep ovens at just the right temperature for that perfect bake
Work as part of a team, while serving up smiles to our customers
What We’re Looking For
HS Diploma or equivalent
Prior experience as a Bread Baker or Pizza Maker
Knowledge of different breads, shapes, and baking styles
Ability to stand and move around for the full shift
Strong English communication skills required
