QTL- Crew 1 UP (Wiring Experience) Location: Longview, TX

Responsibilities

Ensures unit standards for quality and productivity.

Checks proper assembly and installation of each unit and parts (e.g., EVAP coils, compressors, bases/posts, filter racks, blowers, condensers, control board, motors, brazing procedures, charging procedures).

Trains team members on assembling and installing sub‑assembly components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.

Keeps and maintains up‑to‑date information on unit schedules and assembly/quality procedures.

Schedules production time to meet targets.

Prints and verifies correctness of work order packets.

Confirms availability of necessary parts (e.g., sensors, valves, switches, motors, economizer assembly parts, controllers, relays, contactors, fuses, filters, doors, roof panels).

Approves paperwork for sub‑assemblies and end‑of‑line checks (blower assembly, condensers, wiring, copper, economizer wiring, final wire, HXC, power exhaust assembly, pre‑wire). Checks all paperwork and ensures all areas are signed off by all QTLs.

Stays updated on assembly procedures and equipment.

Enforces warehouse safety and housekeeping standards.

Inspects blueprints and assembly drawings.

Communicates effectively with management and team.

Monitors work environments and uses hand tools.

Performs minor repairs and adjustments as required.

Provides production backup support as needed.

Qualifications

18 years or older.

High school diploma or equivalent. Education beyond the minimum is an added advantage.

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

Assess work accuracy and quality, including color detection.

Ability to communicate in written and spoken English language.

Physical Demands

Stand still for 95% of the time.

Move objects up to 25‑50 pounds in all directions.

Navigate manufacturing facility.

Operate heavy equipment and tools.

Perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.

Climb ladders, stairs, etc.

Work in various positions and tight spaces.

Work Environment

Humidity, loud noises, dirt.

Varying and extreme temperatures (heat and cold).

Sheet metal.

Mechanical parts.

Forklift traffic.
