DeFuniak Springs, FL ✨ Located near the white sand beaches of Northwest Florida, Walton Academy provides residential treatment to improve the lives of high-risk male youths (ages 13-19) through mental health and substance abuse services. We offer skills and opportunities to our youth from Carpentry/Home Builders Institute, Sports to Culinary Arts. Pay:

The

Compliance/Trainer

works as a staff member of the management team. This position works jointly with the Rite of Passage Program Director to accomplish licensing and corporate compliance at the ROP location. Understands and implements all licensing requirements per state guidelines. Attends all integrated monitoring by the ROP Quality Assurance Team and licensing agencies. Conducts quarterly internal standard audits with a subsequent follow up to ensure all employees are trained and aware of all licensing, state and federal regulations including PREA. Each internal audit and follow up should take no longer than one week. Conducts internal monitoring, auditing and periodic risk assessments to ensure all employees are trained and aware of all licensing, state and federal regulations including PREA. Oversees the program CQI process. Works with external agencies and supports internal departments through policies and training to ensure compliance of regulations and ROP Policies. Maintains the employee training files. Qualifications & Requirements:

To be considered you should have: a High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. At least 4 years of experience in auditing and training or a bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of experience in auditing and training. Current or past compliance and/or training background is desired. Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical and TB test. Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week as needed.
