Job Summary and Responsibilities
Prepare admission packets, take inventory, and send information to clients, families, and referral sources as directed by the multidisciplinary team.
Perform cleaning duties as required.
Explain admission information and orientation to newly admitted clients, including client rights, program rules, facility tour, fire and emergency procedures, and other pertinent information.
Document orientation information.
Take client vital signs, record height/weight, supervise medication and treatment administration, and provide basic first aid as needed.
Check client rooms and the general facility for cleanliness and monitor clients to ensure they follow specified treatment plans.
Assist primary counselors in evaluating the extent of substance abuse and/or dependency, documenting observations, and relaying information to the multidisciplinary team.
Job Requirements
Ability to read, write, type, and perform simple arithmetic calculations appropriate for a high school graduate.
Basic BLS certification required upon hire or transfer.
Successful completion of First Aid Certification and Medication Aide Certification within 6 months of hire to demonstrate competency in supervising client medications.

Pay Range $15.67 - $22.14 /hour
