Join us as an educator in a local after‑school program focused on disguised learning and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind.
Pay : $21 – $23 per hour (based on education and experience)
Program Hours : Monday – Friday, 1 pm – 6 pm; Wednesday, 11 am – 6 pm (hours may vary slightly depending on location)
Responsibilities
Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss progress, encourage collaboration.
Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: prepare and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are educational and enjoyable for all ages.
Lead by Example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment, model positive guidance, and manage classrooms effectively.
Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor the environment, address hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documenting attendance and incidents.
Communicate Effectively: interact with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Qualifications
Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
Excellent teamwork and collaborative mindset.
Preferred: at least one year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Motivation to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
California Requirements
State‑specific requirements.
Cleared tuberculosis test and health screening.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Age 18 + years.
Proof of High School diploma or GED.
Completed Fingerprint LiveScan background check.
