Licensing Assistant/ Coordinator — Fashion & Home Textiles
Position Overview: The Licensing Coordinator will manage and support all aspects of licensing agreements for fashion and home textile products. This role ensures that brand partnerships, product lines, and licensing contracts are executed efficiently and in alignment with company standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong understanding of the fashion and home goods industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Reports to the Creative Director
Strong understanding of consumer products
Open and adaptable to working across any product category
Excellent attention to detail and highly deadline-driven
Eager to learn and grow professionally
Prior experience in licensing preferred, even if only one year
Experience collaborating with premier partners
Maintain and strengthen relationships with licensors
Serve as a liaison between Sales, Design, and Production teams for licensed products
Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained from licensors for product concepts, pre-production samples, packaging, and final samples
Proactively identify potential risks to licensor requirements and work with management to resolve issues promptly
Assist in preparing presentations as needed
Assist in managing licensing agreements and maintain accurate records of all contracts and renewals.
Track royalties, fees, and other licensing-related financials, ensuring timely reporting.
Monitor compliance with licensing agreements and report any issues or discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and internal reports related to licensing activities.
Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and competitor licensing programs.
Qualifications:
1–2 years of experience in licensing, merchandising, or product management, preferably in fashion or home textiles.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience working with home textiles, apparel, or consumer products.
Salary $50,000-$55,000
