Attendant – Slots The
Attendant – Slots
is responsible for monitoring the performance of slot machines, activity, and conditions in the casino slot area, ensuring all machines are operable and identifying those needing repair.
Essential Functions
Observe all activity within assigned area, offering assistance and instruction on machine functions and payouts to slot players.
Know the various types of slot machines and identify major malfunctions and correct minor malfunctions.
Identify jackpots to be paid and complete them accurately.
Maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency in accordance with department/property standards.
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourage others to do the same.
Qualifications
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
