Job Summary:
Lab assistants in the Biology department will work alongside faculty and staff to facilitate lab execution and content delivery. The department seeks responsible, self‑motivated, hard‑working, punctual students with a regular work schedule who are eager to learn new laboratory techniques.
Responsibilities
Prepare in advance for each lab session
Set up labs and disassemble them after use
Assist students in the lab and answer their questions
Prep supplies and conduct inventory checks
Clean lab equipment and work areas
Provide support in the office as needed
Required Qualifications
Enrolled at the University of North Georgia with a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
Provide the name of one biology faculty reference
