Summary Join Our Amazing Team at Brotman Early Learning Center! Are you nurturing, upbeat, and love spending time with little ones? We’re looking for a caring, energetic personality to join our growing family at Brotman Early Learning Center! We’re a play‑based, year‑round center serving kiddos from 6 weeks to 5 years old— and we’re currently looking for our third teacher to join our Infant Classroom (ages 6 weeks–12 months). You’ll work alongside two other fantastic teachers in a supportive, team‑focused environment, with an amazing community of families who truly value what we do.
Duties
Support the lead teacher and classroom team to create a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate space for learning.
Help plan and implement engaging, play‑based activities that reflect children’s interests and cultural backgrounds.
Document children’s progress and use it to guide daily learning opportunities.
Share updates about children’s activities and development through warm, clear communication—both in writing and in person.
Support healthy routines, tidy up throughout the day, and maintain a safe classroom environment.
Model positive language, ask open‑ended questions, and help children solve problems creatively and respectfully.
Collaborate with teachers, stay flexible with the schedule, and bring a positive attitude every day.
What We’re Looking For:
Passion for working with young children in a play‑based setting.
Strong communication skills and a team‑first attitude.
Flexibility and willingness to learn new things.
Openness to learning about Jewish values, traditions, and history.
Positive customer‑service mindset when interacting with families.
Ability to maintain records and documentation accurately.
Bonus Points If You:
Have previous experience in early childhood education.
Are CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified).
Requirements
A high school diploma or GED.
Age 18 or older and ready to join the fun.
Able to pass the DCYF background check.
Dependable and punctual, always brings their best.
Kind, caring teammate who treats staff, kids, and families with respect and warmth.
Experience caring for infants—diapers, bottles, and baby giggles are your jam!
Nice to Haves
Experience in early learning; passion matters most.
MERIT/STARS ID.
DCYF Portable Background Check.
CPR/First Aid certified.
Washington Food Handler’s card.
