JOB DESCRIPTION Job title Pot Washer
Reports to Position Purpose: Maintains daily cleaning of kitchen sheet pans, pots, skillets, basins, carts, and racks, together with kitchen machinery and all floors, walls, fridges, shelving, drains, etc. Organizes and maintains chemical stocks.
Duties and responsibilities Example of Duties Essential Functions 70 % Washes/runs all dirty equipment (Pots, Pans, Plates, and cookware) through the dishwashing machine. Stacks and sorts clean equipment according to company specifications and moves all washed articles into the respective areas. Cleans drains and machines at end of shift and sanitizing work area as needed.
30 % Complies with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the Standard Sanitation Operational Procedures. Reports problems with the food safety management system to their supervisor and the hygiene and food safety team. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pot washer, cleaner, or housekeeping attendant preferred.
