Position Weekend Warrior Memory Care Support Partner (Full Time)

Location Lee’s Summit, Missouri

Wage Range $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Shift Schedule Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3 pm – 11 pm

Responsibilities

Advocate of Empathy: Understand the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.

Patient Observer: Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident unique; collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience.

Master of the Mise en Scène: Set the stage for a successful day, from preparing the dining room for breakfast to setting up the library for an event and preparing the resident’s room for the nighttime routine.

Life Partner: Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.

Document Resident Care: Accurately record resident care and changes in condition.

Assist with Orientation: Help orient team members assigned to memory‑care neighborhoods.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.

Must have a positive and energetic attitude and love residents.

Must possess computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.

Must be active: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.

Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.

Must assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.

Must be criminally cleared.
