Memory Care Support Partner (PRN)

$19.00–$22.00 per hour (Weekend Warrior Memory Care Support Partner)

We are looking for someone (like you):
Responsibilities
Be an “Advocate of Empathy”: Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
Be a Patient Observer: Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
Be a Master of the Mise en Scène: Responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing dining, library, and resident rooms for their routines.
Be a Life Partner: Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.
Qualifications
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
English proficiency: read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Positive and energetic attitude who will love our residents.
Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
Active: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and help after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
