Mary's Woods is looking for a Nutrition Aide with exceptional communication and customer service skills to join our team. As a Nutrition Aide at Mary's Woods, you will help prepare and serve meals while creating a clean and beautiful table for residents and guests to enjoy. You must be able to relate positively and favorably to staff, residents, and families, and enjoy working on a team while continuing to promote our mission and vision. No experience required — we will provide all necessary training!
Mary's Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care, and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. We pride ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring and welcoming culture. We are seeking passionate team members to join us in fulfilling our mission and values.
Core Responsibilities
Assist in the set-up of tables and the seating of residents
Assist in the preparation and serving of food in all areas of the Health Services department
Demonstrate knowledge of residents’ dietary preferences and honor their requests
Ensure clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining area
Maintain a genuine interest in geriatric care and believe in and uphold the spirit and mission of the organization
Must obtain a Food Handler Permit within a month of employment
Must obtain a CPR/First Aid and AED certification within a month of employment
Experience in a Senior Living community preferred but not required
