Job Title: Electrical Control Technician
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Rotating 8‑hour shifts; overtime as needed
Hourly Rate: $37.88
About the Role We are seeking an Electrical Control Technician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical control systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role involves working with industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical control hardware (motors, sensors, relays, controllers).
Diagnose and repair control circuits (24VDC, 120VAC) and process signals (0–10VDC, 4–20mA).
Perform phase rotation verification and replace sacrificial parts (fuses, overloads).
Maintain pneumatic and electro‑pneumatic systems for control valves.
Adjust field devices and verify discrete/analog signals.
Comply with OSHA and local safety codes; participate in safety programs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required).
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and medium voltage systems.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions.
Pre‑employment assessments, background check, physical, and drug screen required.
OSHA certification and union experience preferred.
Strong computer skills (SAP, Excel, Outlook) desirable.
