Charter House Grille
You'll be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar environment. This role requires strong mixology skills, product knowledge, customer service excellence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Beverage Preparation
Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to standard recipes or guest requests.
Create specialty drinks and maintain knowledge of cocktail trends, wine lists, and beer selections.
Ensure consistent drink quality and proper portion control.
Guest Service Bar Operations Teamwork & Communication Safety & Compliance Qualifications & Requirements
Previous bartending experience preferred; skills in mixology a plus.
Strong customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Must meet minimum legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and POS systems.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, beer, and wine.
Experience in high-volume or fine-dining environments.
Strong upselling and guest-engagement abilities.
Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, SERV Safe Alcohol).
Fast-paced bar or restaurant setting.
Evening, weekend, and holiday availability typically required.
Exposure to loud environments and continuous standing/walking.
