School RN – 1:1 with Student
Location: Bloomington, MN
Schedule: Part Time (Guaranteed 6 hours/week, with potential to float and assist in the health room)
A local school district is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 support to a preschool student. The nurse will work with the student four days per week for 90 minutes per day while he attends preschool. This role is primarily focused on ensuring the student’s health and safety during the school day.
The student is 3 years old, wheelchair bound, oxygen dependent, and may require deep suctioning. The RN will also provide direct nursing support on the bus as needed and may assist in the health room when not with the student. Further details regarding the student’s care plan will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications
Active Minnesota RN License
Current CPR or First Aid Certification
Previous experience working with medically fragile children in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
