The Mandala Café coordinates a Weekly Community Meal on Wednesdays in Central Harlem. Simple, vegetarian food served to well over 200 people each week. Kitchen Prep from 1:00 - 3:45. Packing/Serving 4:00 - 6:00. Serving from 5:00—until the food is handed out. Clean-up from 5:30 - 6:15. Possible to come for any or all. Individuals, Families, Friends, Groups, Clubs... Population Served: Families, Homeless, Low-income communities. Activity Type: Caring for People, Food Preparation & Meal Services. Requirements Age Minimum (with Adult): 13+ , Minimum Age: 16+ , Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed.
