Position Summary The Apprentice Craftsperson will assist the Master Craftsperson with repairing diesel, gasoline, and alternative fueled district vehicles. Performs preventive maintenance under the guidance of a Craftsperson or Master Craftsperson.
Salary Grade Hourly 8 | H-8

Responsibilities Assisting the Master Craftsperson to repair district vehicles, performing preventive maintenance, and following safety protocols as directed.
Minimum Qualifications Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
Experience
One (1) year experience in transportation preferred
Previous experience as a bus mechanic preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain Class A CDL and a Class “B” CDL with Passenger and School bus endorsement
State of Oklahoma School Bus Driving Certificate, Air brake, and School bus endorsement
