We are hiring immediately for a full‑and‑part‑time position at Radford University, Radford VA. Online applications are accepted only.
Location:
801 East Main St, Radford, VA 24142.
Schedule:
Full and part‑time schedule. Open availability preferred. Varying shifts available between 6:00 AM and 1:00 AM, including nights and weekends.
Pay Range:
$15.00 per hour to $15.75 per hour.
Requirements:
Previous food service experience and excellent customer service preferred.
Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
Weighs and measures ingredients.
Moves pans, kettles, and trays between stations and kitchen equipment in accordance with safety standards.
Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure correct quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
Ensures compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash-control procedures.
Ensures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift differential pay is available for hours worked between 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM.
