Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is the largest privately held provider of facility services in North America, servicing over 2 billion square feet of space daily. We serve a wide range of industries and help maintain clean, efficient, and welcoming spaces.
Shift available: 4:00 AM – 9:00 AM.
Starting pay: $16.50 per hour (based on experience).
Position Summary
Perform site crew tasks and ensure they are fully executed.
Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
Provide direction and task coordination for the assigned crew.
Ensure crew members understand and are knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy.
Collaborate with crew to coordinate and execute daily operations, resolving deficiencies promptly.
Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
Ensure team members have the information and tools to perform their jobs effectively; provide clarity and support for their success.
Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with interviews and training.
Motivate the crew; interact regularly with crew members to provide support and clarity, leading by example.
Requirements
Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment strongly preferred.
1–3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safety sheets (generally in English; Spanish may be required in certain states).
Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
Customer‑service oriented, friendly, and positive demeanor; the ability to motivate team members and support customer requests in an orderly and timely manner.
Use of the KBSPresence mobile time‑keeping software; non‑exempt employees must download and use the app on personal devices to clock in/out. Cell‑phone reimbursement is provided per local laws.
