As a Security Officer - Airport Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters as needed. Complete detailed reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols. Assist with access control and visitor management procedures in accordance with site guidelines. Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
