Security Guard - Flex Museum Security

Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as cultural institutions. You will patrol assigned areas within a prominent cultural institution, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate with visitors and staff. What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the interior and perimeter of the cultural institution to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report security-related irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors and employees.
Document all activities, incidents, and irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site requirements.
Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points as needed to deter unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicant will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicant will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
