The Floor Technician is responsible for enhancing the overall Resident experience through exceptional maintenance of all floor areas and sustaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. The role reports to the Director of Environmental Services. Schedule
Sunday and Monday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM About The Position
The Floor Technician will thoroughly clean and maintain all types of flooring in resident units and in all common areas including back-of-house areas. This includes stripping and waxing as required or assigned, in accordance with community standards and practices. Interactions should reflect The Sterling Touch: friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional, aimed at achieving a high level of Resident satisfaction. Responsibilities
Clean and maintain all flooring in resident units and common areas. Perform stripping and waxing as required or assigned. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation align with community standards and procedures. Provide service in a respectful and professional manner in all interactions. Qualifications And Requirements
High School Diploma or GED, preferred. Floor technician experience, preferred. Cleaning experience, required. Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to communicate with Residents, guests and colleagues; to explain and record resident requests and work orders; to understand product labels and community communications. Ability to scrub and scour surfaces; reach overhead; work in narrow and confined spaces. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without long periods of sitting. Ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds and push or pull carts up to 50 pounds. Benefits
