Job Summary
The
Custodian
is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment within the warehouse facility. This role involves routine cleaning, waste management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Custodians utilize an eye for detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness to perform physical tasks efficiently. Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the warehouse. Clean restrooms, break rooms, and office areas regularly. Wipe down surfaces and equipment to maintain a dust-free environment Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables according to local protocols and expectations Maintain waste bins and recycling receptacles, ensuring timely removal and replacement Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance requests to leadership Monitor and replenish inventory levels of cleaning supplies Organize and store cleaning equipment and materials in designated areas Assist with setup and cleanup for warehouse events or meetings Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership. Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals Abide by all company and warehouse policies Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation
