Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team in Grantsburg, WI, 54840. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facility. Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment in the office and shop offices
Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
Wash windows, mirrors and partitions.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors.
Shampoo carpets and rugs as needed.
Assist with setting up and taking down furniture for events and meetings.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the facility meets cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving equipment.
Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed.
