Job Overview
Gallaher Signature Living is seeking a part‑time Concierge to join our Varenna team. In alignment with GSL’s mission and values, Concierges are responsible for anticipating and fulfilling guest needs by offering tailored recommendations, arranging exclusive services, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. All responsibilities must be completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines, and regulations. Fridays and Saturdays 2:30pm - 10:00pm This position has an hourly range of $19.00- $22.00 per hour, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities
Greet residents, families, and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and discretion Manage the front desk, including phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries Provide personalized assistance such as reservations, transportation coordination, event information, and special requests Support resident lifestyle programming and community events as needed Maintain knowledge of community amenities, services, policies, and local attractions Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor lobby appearance to ensure a polished, welcoming environment Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Respond promptly and courteously to resident concerns or requests Qualifications & Requirements
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Customer service background preferred. 2+ years of experience in concierge, hospitality, hotel, or luxury customer service roles strongly preferred. Warm, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with basic office technology (phones, email, scheduling systems). Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or evenings. Able to work with seniors and patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals. Able to operate office equipment including copier, telephone, postage machine, time clock, etc. Able to adapt and respond to changes, make decisions, and prioritize tasks and projects. Able to read, write and speak the English language to interact and communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, physicians, health care professionals, residents, and their families. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently. Able to obtain and maintain valid First Aid, CPR, and Food Handler’s certification, as needed. Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, test within 72 hours of start date. About Us
