Assistant Manager Responsibilities
Create a welcoming, polished, and inclusive environment for both guests and team members
Support the General Manager in all aspects of pre-opening preparation and daily restaurant operations
Lead floor operations as Manager on Duty, ensuring exceptional service execution and guest satisfaction
Recruit, train, coach, and mentor service team members to fine dining standards
Uphold and reinforce service standards, operating procedures, and brand expectations
Ensure excellence in food safety, cleanliness, organization, and overall operational efficiency
Assist with labor management, scheduling, inventory, and cost control initiatives
Handle guest concerns and recovery with professionalism, confidence, and discretion
Act as a visible leader during service, setting the tone for hospitality, accountability, and teamwork
Assistant Manager Qualifications
Proven leadership experience as a Manager in a fine dining, luxury hotel, or luxury resort environment
Experience participating in a new restaurant opening strongly preferred
Strong understanding of service standards, floor management, and guest relations
Solid working knowledge of labor management, inventory, and basic financial controls
A polished, confident leader with the ability to motivate and coach teams
Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences
Ability to succeed in a high-expectation, fast-paced environment
