Overview An HVACR Instructor will be responsible for effectively training students in the HVACR Technician curriculum in both classroom and laboratory settings.

Responsibilities
Inspire and educate students by creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
Lead practical demonstrations, ensuring real‑world experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing HVACR systems.
Collaborate with the education team to enhance existing courses and develop new ones aligned with industry trends.
Mentor students on individual projects, encouraging critical thinking and innovative solutions.
Instill safety procedures and best practices to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
At least 3 years of practical work experience in refrigeration, commercial or residential HVAC, mini‑splits, and boilers.
EPA 608/Universal certification and OSHA 10/30 highly valued.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and empathy in teaching, understanding that each student learns at their own pace.

Work Environment

Use fine‑motor skills to operate computers and HVAC equipment.
Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed.
Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to provide instruction in labs.
Perform tasks with safe ambulation and use of personal protective equipment.
Work in a climate‑controlled environment on campus, no travel required.
