Responsibilities
Serve as the direct contact with the kids and families to assure they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Run practice for groups ranging from 10 to 30+ kids.
Plan practice drills using the provided resources and curriculum.
Lead kids and other coaches through program drills in a fun and engaging way.
Move smoothly from one drill to the next, keeping players engaged and identifying volunteer opportunities to prevent downtime.
Lead pre‑game and post‑game huddles that emphasize sportsmanship and mindfulness.
Set up and clean up the field each week.
Offer guidance to volunteers regarding drills and roles.
Support volunteers when issues arise with parents, players, or venues.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Report any player, parent, referee, or coach issues to the site lead.
Must‑Haves / Qualifications
At least 1 year of coaching or teaching experience.
Attendance at mandatory staff training.
