Pest Control Technician

PestCo . This position focuses on delivering pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures.
Base Pay Range $36,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Operate a daily pest control route, applying pesticides according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
Arrive on time at each customer’s home and maintain a company vehicle.
Discuss the scope of service with the customer and provide sales support.
Use in‑house training to determine the most efficient pest solution for each customer’s needs.
Provide customers with industry‑leading pest control and eradication services.
Recommend and provide estimates for one‑time treatments and ongoing maintenance to new and existing customers.
Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
Serve as the subject‑matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer’s individual needs.
Use all safety equipment as instructed.
Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order, including vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature.
Devote full attention and time during working hours to the performance of duties as directed by supervisor and Company.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal, written, and in‑person communication skills.
Strong customer service and in‑person presentation skills.
Ability to lift to 50 lbs and kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
Self‑motivated and results driven.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Pass a background check and drug screen.
Pest control experience preferred but not required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and use an iPad (provided by the company).
Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
