Inside Sales Specialist - US
to join our busy and growing manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the department and company to the next level. The incumbent will be forward looking and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Specialist will coordinate the order process, address customer product and ordering inquiries, maintain regular cadence with customers, support sales objectives, and work closely with production planning. Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Travel/meet with, and build relationship(s) with assigned customers (minimal travel, once per year to strategic customers only) Must demonstrate/command basic product knowledge, ability to answer customers questions or re-direct to the appropriate Romet person Host calls with customers (bi-monthly with strategic customers and monthly with other customers) to review all orders (backlog), order changes (delays/pull-in requests), forecast, upside orders and answer basic product questions. Sales Engineering Specialist and Sales Manager will support calls as optional Process the approved orders according to customer(s) specifications, handle order changes Issue customer/sales sample/replacement orders and monitor Sent order acknowledgement, shipping delays notifications, and shipping notifications when shipped to the customer Attend and participate in Romet production At Risk meetings and work closely with production planners to understand order status Discuss at risk orders with Sales Manager and Sales Engineering Specialist to decide on when and how to discuss with customers Generate and provide quotations to customers (copy Sales Manager and Sales Engineering Specialist) Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner (sales leads, order status, parts inquiries, etc.) Request Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) with Romet’s Customer Experience team, when requested, follow the RMA process through completion, updating the customer along the process Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and SharePoint systems for each customer, including saving quotations, agreements, orders, etc. Maintain price lists in CRM/BC along with item codes Maintain and manage customer supplied materials and products (ERTs, badges, etc). Be available on a rotating schedule of working hours (as late as 6pm as required) All other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications:
Must be computer literate – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong verbal and written communication skills, relationship skills Understand shipping and payment terms Understand the flow of production and bill of material Detail oriented, accuracy in order processing and filling out reports Possess excellent organizational and analytical skills Educational/Experience Requirements:
