As an Accounting Services Manager, you will:
Review workpapers, reconcile accounts, and compile financial statements for clients
Have advanced knowledge of payroll taxes, benefits, and forms
Process payroll and review payroll tax forms such as 1099s, sales tax forms, etc.
Have an advanced understanding of client accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop and Online)
Provide timely and accurate accounting assistance per client requests
Oversee payroll and sales tax audits and respond to related tax notices
Assist with individual and business preparation services
Promote staff development through mentoring, training, retention, and team-building activities
Prepare proposals for request for services
Perform billing tasks
Participate in community and marketing activities to develop positive relationships with community leaders and members
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Our ideal candidate will have:
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Six or more years of similar experience
Supervisory experience
Knowledge of GAAP
Exceptional communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and accounting software packages
