This is a permanent part‑time role. ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. Continuous physical activity will be required throughout the workday shift.

What does a Retail Scan Associate do?
Perform in‑store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
Use the ScanScape mobile app to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.
Provide quantity details for approximately 45% of scanned products.
Complete Display Scanning for the entire store each week.
Participate in Custom Projects (additional 30 minutes to 2 hours) as requested by clients.
Submit scans and reports before designated deadlines.
Estimated hours: 12–18 hours per week, varying by store size and project needs.
Qualifications
At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
Endurance to stand on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
Access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
Tech savvy.
High school diploma or GED (preferred).
Application deadline: 02/05/2026.
