$42,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Otsego seeking Welders who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials and thicknesses.
Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Inspect finished welds to ensure quality, structural integrity, and adherence to specifications.
Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures.
Fabricate and assemble metal components according to production requirements.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick/SMAW).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Demonstrated understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Physical dexterity and stamina to perform welding tasks, including lifting and working in various positions.
Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX) or ability to pass certification tests.
Experience working with various metal types (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
Bonus Qualifications
AWS D1.1, D1.2, or D1.6 certification
Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored)
Experience with fabrication, fitting, and grinding
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints
