$48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or grinders according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure quality.
Adjust machine offsets, tooling, and programming to maintain part accuracy and surface finish.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine alarms, tool wear issues, or operational problems.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components efficiently and safely.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC milling and/or turning centers.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and machine control.
Demonstrated experience with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) for quality control.
Knowledge of various metal types, cutting tools, and machining parameters.
Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).
Ability to read and interpret G-code for minor program adjustments.
Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or 5S methodology.
