Welder Job Description The welder will use hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand-soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components, fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products, and fabricate parts. The role involves using MIG Welder, Arc Welder, Acetylene Torch, Metal Cutoff Saw, Grinder, and other tools to repair various construction equipment and to fabricate metal parts that fix or enhance equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate equipment safely and efficiently according to company policy and manufacturer guidelines.
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks.
Clean equipment as required.
Ensure that equipment is secured at the end of the shift.
Foster harmonious interactions and maintain basic standards of civility in the workplace.
Uphold acceptable attendance.
Act as a productive team member, supporting the team by assisting where needed.
Exemplify core values—Teamwork, Integrity, Commitment.
Comply with all applicable safety, environment, health, and waste‑management policies and procedures.
Handle a great deal of stress over long periods of time; adhere to the Code of Conduct and Company Safety Policy.
Lift and carry 50 pounds and carry it 50 feet.
Work overtime and weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen with a "Negative" result.
Must pass a post‑offer physical with a "Capable" result.
