JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently seeking a
Field Service Technician
for a client in the Huntsville, AL area. This role is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining beverage dispensing and refrigeration equipment at customer locations. The technician will ensure proper functionality of equipment, provide preventative maintenance, and deliver excellent customer service in support of business operations.
Responsibilities of an Service Technician include:
Diagnose, repair, and install equipment such as fountain machines, coolers, and vending machines.
Perform preventative maintenance and keep all equipment in safe, proper operating condition.
Prepare and test equipment in accordance with company standards before and after installation.
Maintain accurate inventory of parts and document all service activities.
Keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships. Communicate service updates, account issues, or opportunities to supervisor/account manager.
Operate company vehicle in a safe and compliant manner.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year of technical or mechanical work experience.
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or mechanical repair.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be flexible to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
At least 1 year of refrigeration/HVAC experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Trade or vocational certification in refrigeration
Basic to intermediate skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
