Overview
The Synthetic Turf Installer is responsible for the installation of artificial turf systems in residential and commercial environments. This role requires hands-on construction experience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow installation standards to deliver high-quality, durable turf installations that meet customer expectations. Key Responsibilities
Perform synthetic turf installations including site preparation, base construction, grading, compaction, drainage setup, turf layout, cutting, seaming, infill application, and final grooming Follow company installation standards, safety protocols, and job specifications Read and interpret job plans, measurements, and work orders Operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely Maintain clean and organized job sites Communicate professionally with customers and team members on-site Assist with material loading, unloading, and inventory tracking Participate in final walkthroughs and address punch list items as needed Follow all safety, PPE, and jobsite requirements Qualifications
Prior experience in synthetic turf installation, landscaping, construction, or related trades preferred Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, kneeling, bending, and working outdoors Familiarity with base prep, grading, and compaction methods a plus Basic math and measuring skills Valid driver’s license preferred Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Problem-solving skills on active jobsites Time management and task prioritization Commitment to safety and workmanship standards Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Residential and commercial job sites Physical labor including lifting materials and equipment Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Training and advancement opportunities Company-provided tools and safety equipment Seniority level
