Machine Operator I -3rd Shift

Working in a brand new, state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility where you can grow. Shift: 3rd Shift (Sunday‑Thursday, 11 pm‑7 am).
Salary: $18‑$20 per hour (dependent on experience) plus shift differential.
Job Function Machine operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes used in the production of quality weather stripping/specialty products. Operators work with technicians, supervisors, and other personnel to maintain continuous operation.
Primary Responsibilities
Safety
Follow all safety work practices outlined in standard procedures.
Support plant or departmental safety initiatives.
Quality
Perform all quality inspections per standard instructions.
Ensure product is within specification tolerances.
Complete inspection audit sheet or charting requirements.
Inform technician of quality issues on the line.
Productivity
Follow standard work for light priorities.
Set up and recalibrate production equipment according to GMPs and SOPs.
Notify area technician of issues for prompt resolution.
Replenish raw material supply.
Remove finished product.
Makes minor adjustments to machines.
Perform minor repairs.
Records
Record time and reason machine is out of operation.
Record time when machine is back online.Record repairs needed.
Record amount and reason for scrap.
Measurement Areas
Housekeeping of area.
Quality products.
Documentation accuracy.
Preparedness and organization.
Productivity, maintaining assigned machines.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High School diploma, GED, or TASC preferred.
Must be able to read, understand and follow all safety and quality procedures.
Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
One‑year manufacturing experience preferred.
Physical Demands / Work Environment The employee regularly stands, walks, stoops/squats, climbs stairs, uses hands and arms, talks, and hears. Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds. The noise level is typically loud.
