Position Summary Schwickert’s Tecta America is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As an Electrical Journeyman, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, a keen eye for detail, and a dedication to safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring, conduits, lighting, generators, control systems, etc.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently

Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and regulations

Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget

Communicate effectively with team and with clients

Mentor and supervise apprentices

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician License

Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment

Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations

Proven ability to work independently and reliably

Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Valid driver’s license

Eagerness to learn and grow with the company

Starting pay ranges from $38‑$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
