Administrative Assistant at Career Group's Fourth Floor | HRIP Certified Our client, a fashion brand specializing in contemporary apparel, is seeking a
temp-to-hire Patternmaker
to join their team in Vernon, CA.
Gerber experience required. Compensation
Base pay range: $45.00/hr - $55.00/hr What You’ll Do
Fabric and material management:
Determine the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize fabric waste and calculate the amount of material needed. Fittings and adjustments:
Participate in garment fittings, make necessary adjustments to the pattern to ensure proper fit and functionality, and provide fitting comments. Collaboration:
Work closely with designers to interpret their vision and with production teams to ensure a seamless transition from pattern to finished product. Documentation and maintenance:
Mark patterns with relevant information like style and size, and maintain and update pattern libraries and datasheets. Research and development:
Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and technologies to improve quality and efficiency. Requirements
10+ years patternmaking experience. Experience with Gerber and Manual Patterns. Application
