Metal Fabrication/Machine Operator - Wolf Appliance – 3rd Shift
The Fabrication B position supports fabrication activities to ensure timely support of the manufacturing process in a safe and respectful manner. The role includes producing parts and operating machines per supervisor direction, adhering to Manufacturing Work Instruction or Job Instruction Breakdown. Specific tasks may vary based on assignments.
Responsibilities
Operate machines and equipment, such as CNC Panel Bender, mechanical and hydraulic presses, spot welders, lasers, brake press, and die stamping, to fabricate metal parts for use in the manufacturing process.
Load and unload materials or parts into and out of the machine with precision and accuracy.
Select the proper software program to run specific parts on the machines and make software modifications as necessary.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
Visually inspect and measure parts for accuracy and defects.
Train employees on procedures and techniques.
Assist in defining work instructions.
Maintain housekeeping and workstation organization tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
This position requires a pre‑employment drug/alcohol test and background check, administered after a conditional job offer is extended. A negative test result is required for employment. Refusal to take the test or a positive result may disqualify a candidate from further consideration. All drug testing will be conducted in accordance with federal and state laws.
