Position Type : Part Time
Job Shift : AM
Core Responsibilities Core responsibilities are divided into Job Function and Professionalism & Style expectations.
Job Function Weighted 90% of assessment.
Administration:
Post all payments into the accounting computer systems.
Print and/or type all hotel checks except payroll.
Research all vendors and any account payable issues.
Hand out cash to Cashiers and make change from the hotel safe per policy.
Make daily bank deposits.
Audit daily cash drops and conduct periodic audits of all cash banks.
Support:
Must have comprehensive knowledge of English to communicate with guests, associates, vendors.
Effectively communicate & coordinate with all departments.
Scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies & procedures.
Professionalism & Style Expectations Totals 10% of appraisal.
Personal Effectiveness:
Projects and assignments completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and open to change.
Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
Conducts self professionally, acts & dresses, sets standards for associates.
Communication:
Understands & communicates Driftwood mission.
Expresses ideas & conveys info clearly, effectively, & professionally.
Actively listens to others.
Conveys company information, decisions or problems timely.
Works to resolve disagreements, respectful of peers & co-workers.
Physical Requirements
Minimum lifting 20 lbs.
Minimum pulling 20 lbs.
Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
Hearing, writing, typing.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments / functions.
Must have comprehensive knowledge applicable Federal, state, local health, safety, legal regulations.
Must have exceptional mathematical & computer skills.
High school education required; additional education preferred.
Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
CPR/first aid training preferred.
Additional language ability preferred.
