Responsibilities
Install and maintain data servers and network equipment.
Monitor day‑to‑day performance of servers and maintain an optimally controlled environment.
Troubleshoot network and server problems.
Manage rack and stack of equipment as required.
Perform daily walkthroughs of the data center and report hardware alerts to offshore teams.
Coordinate external vendors for onsite support visits and issue resolution.
Work with teams on fault‑finding and troubleshooting issues.
Install cables according to standard procedures and manage external cabling vendors.
Act as point of contact for new TELCO link installations, fault finding, and cabling.
Manage new hardware installations by external vendors and arrange deliveries of replacement parts.
Attend client meetings and publish meeting minutes when required.
Provide weekend/evening on‑call support coverage as needed.
Manage local server and storage operations under guidance from offshore teams.
Manage local network operations under guidance from offshore teams.
Handle infrastructure‑related project management tasks.
Provide console access and remote support as required.
Manage data center operations and capacity reporting.
Coordinate with vendors for data center facilities, power, cooling, monitoring, and security.
Review cabinet capacity and maintain data center cleanliness.
