Key Responsibilities
Provide troubleshooting, repair, parts ordering, preventative maintenance, and installation of Dell hardware at customer sites.
Triage technical issues under the direction of Dell Support.
Execute Plans of Action (POA) from Dell Domain Engineers/L3 Support.
Document POA results, logs, and service reports (including part numbers/PPIDs of old/new parts) via case emails.
Reseat, swap, or replace hardware components as required.
Perform server testing and validation through diagnostics, log capture, and firmware upgrades.
Manage parts inventory, including inbound/outbound shipments, parts lockers, and spare components for server deployments.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or technical certification preferred.
Strong, hands-on experience in server and hardware replacements.
4 6 years of hands-on experience in a related technical or field service role.
Preferred Skills
Strong understanding of Dell enterprise servers and components.
