What You Will Do

Use predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect arriving, in-process, and completed products for conformance to engineering requirements and quality specifications.

Perform inspections using measuring devices, testing equipment, computer systems, and statistical control processes for in-process, final bench, and product feature inspections.

Inspect actual products on the floor and online, including First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.

Raise non-conformance notifications, quarantine non-conforming product, and provide disposition when approved.

Carry out oversight and inspection of parts, materials, and processes.

Read, interpret, and utilize quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentation.

Operate computer systems for inspection tasks (e.g., Via Search, JD Edwards, One World, Engineering Information System, labor charging).

Verify work order documentation for accuracy and completeness; administer visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies.

Complete unit shakedowns to check for foreign objects, rattles, and loose internal hardware.

Conduct First Article Inspections and complete related documentation; perform administrative tasks for file management.

Perform Preliminary Material Reviews (PMR) as needed.

Work 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.

Work Environment

Occasional weekend and holiday support may be required.

Exposure to products of various weights and sizes, equipment with moving parts, and chemicals that may emit fumes.

Use static-control and personal protective equipment to minimize safety risks.

Physical Demands

Distinguish colors and meet vision requirements.

Bend, stoop, reach, and turn as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, place units on racks.

Use hands for extended periods performing testing and troubleshooting tasks.

Stand for 2-hour increments without opportunity to sit.

Lifting up to 25 pounds.

Transporting product with or without product carts.

What You Will Learn

Gain experience with inspection processes and collaborate with OEM services officers for final inspection service processes.

Qualifications You Must Have

High school diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Experience with calipers.

Experience navigating SAP or another ERP system.

Experience reading blueprints.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with electronic assembly/inspection in the aerospace industry, preferably 1–2 years.

Experience providing feedback to teammates regarding processes.
