We are seeking a second shift

Inspection Technician II

to play a critical role in launching high‑precision components that meet demanding standards of flight. Your expertise ensures that every part entering production is compliant, reliable, and ready for mission‑critical performance. In this role, you’ll safeguard quality from the first piece, influence downstream processes, and serve as a key link between engineering, production, and quality assurance.

Working in a brand‑new state‑of‑the‑art facility that includes new equipment, a cafeteria, onsite fitness gym, golf simulator, outdoor tennis court, basketball court, and pickleball court.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, with overtime on a business‑need basis.

Compensation

10% shift differential for 2nd shift

$1,500 Sign‑on Bonus*

What You Will Do

Perform First Article Inspections and complete related documentation.

Inspect a variety of parts using measuring/inspection instruments (e.g., micrometers, gauges and calipers) with proper inspection techniques.

Read, interpret and utilize Quality policies, procedures, blueprints and other documentation.

Perform receiving, in‑process, final inspection & first‑article approval of manufactured, assembled, and tested hardware and components.

Operate computer systems to perform inspection tasks.

Verify all work order documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Administer visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies.

Complete unit shakedowns (when required) to check for foreign objects, rattles and loose internal hardware.

Perform administrative tasks associated with file management.

Perform other duties as required.

Successful completion of a post‑offer visual examination to assess visual acuity and color vision annually.

Qualifications You Must Have

High School diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D. in the U.S.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

1+ years of experience with First Article Inspection, Aerospace and Defense, Discus, Net Inspect, GD&T, mechanical inspection, visual inspection.

ZEISS CMM Operator experience is a plus.
